DVD DLT Pre-Mastering
Our DLT Pre-mastering packages include special DVD testing to make sure your DVD Image is DVD-Video Specification compliant and truly ready for replication.
Two DVD DLT Pre-mastering Packages to Choose From: |
TFDVD Research Labs' DLT pre-mastering
is bullet-proof... and guaranteed.
|
|
1) DLT Pre-mastering with Eclipse Image Analysis® and the
MEI DVD-Video Verifier® testing |
This DLT Pre-mastering package assures your DVD Image is DVD Specification compliant and that your replicator will have no problems
with the DLT submission. |
Send in your VIDEO_TS folder, Jacket Pictures, and ROM data (build folder from any DVD authoring system)
or DDP 2.0 Image on hard drive (Fire wire or USB 2.0) or USB sticks; or please inquire about FTP transmission (we're on high-speed fiber optic here).
Once we receive the materials, we'll format your data into a DDP Image, including with CSS copy protection and Macrovision, if specified; or work with your submitted DDP 2.0 Image directly. From there, we'll extract the VIDEO_TS folder out of the DDP Image and perform our exclusive DVD testing, including first with the MEI DVD-Video Verifier®. Then, we'll burn the Image to DVD Recordable and play it in several of our players that have proven over the years to show weaknesses in the different authoring system's builds. If all's well, we'll then use Eclipse ImageCopy® to transfer the DDP Image to DLT tape. An Eclipse Image Analysis® test is run on the Image during this transfer process.
|
Professional Image Submission is the Way to Go
Next, we'll label and package the tapes
and include an Eclipse ImageAnalysis® report for submission to the replication plant. We can forward directly to
your replicator, or ship back to you, or your client. Turn around time is 24 - 48 business hours.
Special consideration: If we find something that needs correcting in the Image and if it's a simple settings change we can make here; we will - no extra charge. Or, if it's something only your authoring system can redo, we'll instruct you on how to make the change(s) and resubmit to us - again, no extra charge for the first resubmission. If the Image has serious problems, we'll tell you how to do things differently, to fix it yourself for resubmission to us at no extra charge, or provide you with a reasonable quote to do it here, if time is of the essence.
Important Note: This DLT pre-mastering package does not include full proofing of your DVD, but serves as the proper ancillary capacity to your own in-house QC. Our full testing/proofing package is always highly recommended. Please check out the services if you would like us to handle the full proofing of your DVD-R 'Release Candidate'; checking the authoring/disc navigation and proofing/watching of all your Mpeg streams, dvd usability testing, etc.
Be assured - New Constellation Technologies' DLT Pre-mastering packages are the best way to insure smooth sailing at the plant, and beyond.
Warning Notice: There are other companies who may offer to "write the DLT tapes for you". None of these entities use the EclipseSuite and ImageAnalysis® and the MEI DVD-Video Verifier tools, etc. to verify their work. In fact, no third part entity writing DLT tapes for studios, can be considered professional, unless they're employing Eclipse ImageAnalysis® to insure valid images are written.
Please call Trai directly with questions at at 800-213-2297 or 610-924-9204 and receive a great quote. Or, contact Trai by email, if you prefer. |
Submitting an Eclipse Image Analysis® report along with the DLTs, proving the Image's viability, is the best way to protect the job at the plant.
DVD-R Image
submission can easily unnecessarily blow
a clients' deadline
Fact: A minimum of an overall 10% (or more) DVD-R Image submissions to replicators are rejected outright, due to the replicator's optical drive not being able to read all the sectors. |
|
2) Premiere DVD Project Proofing, DLT Pre-mastering Package |
|
This is our flagship package which combines most of the services listed on this site. There is plenty of phone consultation time, project proofing, player bank testing, etc. We see your project before replication, as a DVD-R 'Release Candidate' and after as manufactured Check Discs, for instance. Please click here for a full description.
Please call Trai (610-924-9204) to discuss your upcoming project, and for a multi-package discount quote. |
